Keeping your heart healthy is imperative, but how do you do that in a world full of fast food, technology (in place of exercise), alcohol, and tobacco? Yes, I know you’ve heard it all before, but humor me…here it comes again! In the United States, heart disease is the number one killer of adults. We eat too much, move too little, drink alcohol like water, and puff away on cancer sticks (a.k.a. tobacco and weed). You’d have to live under a rock to not know all those behaviors contribute to diseased blood vessels and weak heart muscles…but knowledge doesn’t always bring about change. High cholesterol, high blood pressure, stress, sedentary lifestyle, obesity, diabetes, alcohol intake, and smoking are all heart disease risk factors …
